The goal of this post is to capture a memory from the past week, either with a camera, words, or both.  Time passes in the blink of an eye and this will create a collection of treasured memories from throughout the year.

My Snapshot(s)

We love participating in Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day Live and this year we supported a nearby African American museum as they held a big to-do in honor of this exciting grand opening.

Our little local spot offered special food, music, poetry readings and of course, art - but my favorite portion of the program was the spoken word presentations.

I'm not normally one to enjoy poetry readings, but these talented writers from all over the country really wowed me with their passion!

What was your favorite memory from this past week?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
