Gv was understudy for the role of Sandy Cheeks in a production of SpongeBob and for one of the performances, the understudies got to play the main roles!

After months of hearing all of her Texas-twang practicing, it was fun to see everything come together!

This dog continues to be trained for utter spoilage. This is the current iteration of daily dog-carrying.

It's time for the annual 4-H County Day competition and this year's performance number is sure to get some laughs!

a more-packed-than-I'd-ever-seen London...

where we saw our first panto...

...then we experienced tons of snow in Brno...

explored Bratislava...

hunted for Kolodko statues in Budapest...

appreciated the beauty of Vienna...

delighted in our first West End production back in London before...

arriving home just in time for our 4-H camping trip...

and finishing up January at the state Capitol for 4-H Day!

My Snapshots

What have we been up to in the past month? Take a look and see:

This puffball looks like a stuffed animal when he's all dressed up! (Also, note the bandage on Gv's chin - she split it open skating again, but luckily they were able to seal it with glue and she avoided the needle & thread this time!)

She sang "I Could Have Danced All Night" at a music festival and received a rating of superior!

Mmmm, Thanksgiving yumminess...

Time for this year's 4-H presentation. Her topic this year is movie making.

And that wraps up the month! I wonder what next month has in store for us...actually, I know one thing, and it's pretty exciting...

What have we been up to in the past month? Take a look and see:

Sewing project for the month was a trick or treat bag...

The three of us worked together to create this "lovely" haunted house (with a hint to Gv's next musical) at a library event:

Gv created a dog carrier out of a backpack and now this little guy is even more spoiled than before...

Halloween and she turned a yellow dress she already had into Belle:

And that wraps up the month! I wonder what next month has in store for us...

We got back into town and Gv jumped right into a show, as Peter Pan in Shrek:

Our year of Disney came to a close (G was over it by this final day!):

Hairy Pawter showed up again at our house:

No sooner did one show end than another began--this time she was a tree (& munchkin & flying monkey) in Wizard of Oz:

And that wraps up the month! I wonder what next month has in store for us...

Gv qualified to compete at the district level for her presentation and talent for 4-H, and won blue ribbons for both!

Annual family Easter photo.

What Saturday mornings look like when your mom has to be on the ice at 6:30!

Because some days call for bunny slippers and a Christmas sweater!

And that wraps up April! I wonder what next month has in store for us...

My Snapshots

What have we been up to in the past month? Take a look and see:

We continue to try and eek out every cent from our year of having a pass here. Epcot has this big arts festival every year, but we were underwhelmed by it all -- except for the amazing chalk art!

These giant pictures were you could "become" the painting were fun, too!

It was state fair time and I had to miss pretty much the whole day for work, but I was luckily able to meet the group there just in time for the judging of the baking. Gv entered 3 baked items and won 1st place for her orange donuts!

Our new little bike rider continues to get out on her wheels every day, but we had a blast loading up the bikes and hitting a local bike trail for the first time as a family. Hopefully we'll be able to do it again before it gets too hot!

Back at Disney, but this time exploring Animal Kingdom. We had a fun, silly day.

Headed back to our car after a Disney day and discovered this cute little guy waiting for us. I wondered if it was like the Jeep duck thing and discovered later when I looked it up that it IS! It's called "Moo Moo Subaru" and so now I'm wanting to get in on the action - I found these cuties, but I have to say that I'm really fond of this guy...

We've still been struggling to get back to our weekly family board game habit, but at least we're doing better than last year. This is a newer game for us, so we're still all figuring out our strategy with it...

Gv and I have now gone twice just the two of us, and this past time was the best day together yet!

Gv's best friend has always had passes, so when we got ours, she immediately started planning a trip over there with him. That day finally came and it was a dream come true!

Only a few more years until these two are driving around together for real!

And that wraps up February and March! I wonder what next month has in store for us...
