I'm joining Pam for Project Snapshot Mondays.  The goal of this project is to capture a memory from the past week, either with a camera, words, or both.  Time passes in the blink of an eye and this will create a collection of treasured memories from throughout the year.

My Snapshot
We hiked from our camping spot all the way to the Pink Beds picnic area and let Gv run around for about an hour as a break before we headed back up the trail to camp.  She had a blast scurrying around exploring and chasing after an enormous group of tween girls from a nearby summer camp that were enjoying a post-hike meal of PB&J and Funyuns.

Wait.  Did somebody say Funyuns?

Great, now I'm craving a bag right now!

Gv's such a social little thing.

She was most excited, however, for this find.  A giant stick, that as you can see took two hands for her to pick up.  Oh, that stick.  She carried that thing around the entire time we were there.  It was her new best friend.

G told me a few days later that he planned for us to pull in to that picnic area from the highway when we were heading home, just so he could bring that stick home with us.  But after an entire day (and the hottest on record while we were up there) of packing everything up, we were just too pooped to make the short diversion and decided to leave the stick for her there, "until next time."

What was your favorite memory from this past week?  I'd love to hear about it!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
