The goal of this post is to capture a memory from the past week, either with a camera, words, or both.  Time passes in the blink of an eye and this will create a collection of treasured memories from throughout the year.

My Snapshot(s)

Today's snapshot has me feeling quite blue, because it seems our little Linus-Aquinas will not be a permanent member of our family, after all.

Despite the obvious love these two share, he has displayed out-of-the-blue aggression towards Gv and we realized yesterday that we are just too uncomfortable trusting him around our sweet daughter.

The tears fell as I hit "send" on the email to the rescue organization -  I can only hope that G is right and that the right dog for our family is out there.

And hopefully a dog who can elicit this much joy, but without the painful bite!

What was your favorite memory from this past week?  I'd love to hear about it!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.

Oh I am so sorry to hear about your dog. We had to part with our precious pup in order to go care for my sisters children (back before we had a child of our own, so this dog was very like a child) and it was unbelievably hard!

Also, thank you so much for your sweet comment on my blog today! It meant a lot. :)

Wow, I can't even imagine how difficult it must have been for you to part with your sweet pup when you cared for your sister's kids. It was difficult for us to see Linus go, and he'd only been a part of our family for a month! Gv still asks about him daily, so we're really hoping the rescue organization comes across the perfect dog for us soon.

Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello today and I hope to see you again here soon!
Awww *sniff sniff* I'm so sorry to hear that. :( They are precious pictures!! You'll find your forever puppy soon! *hugs*

When Kaylee was a puppy we went through a scary time when it seemed like she might be being too rough / aggressive with our cats... and the whole time I was thinking "what if she isn't good with our babies someday!" It's scary when you're getting to know an animal, and figuring out what their boundaries are etc. You are wise to be cautious!

Oh, I cried and cried, but now that we've been without him for two weeks, I know we made the right decision. Since you've still got Kaylee, I'm assuming she and the cats are doing much better, these days?

Thanks for supporting us, in such a difficult decision, my friend!
