It's time for another round of 5 After 5!  In case you missed it, last week's list was 5 character allusions from tv or movies and if you're new to this series, you can read more about it here.

Today I've got my list of 5 to share, as well as next week's topic for you to stew about over the upcoming days.

And if you've posted your own 5 After 5 list on your blog, I've turned this series into a link party - so be sure to get your own 5 things added below (or leave your answers in today's comments if you're not a blogger).  I loved reading everyone's comments from last week and I really can't wait to see what you share today!

List 5 Blogs You Love

So I thought this week's list would be a cinch, but then started to realize that five was an awfully small number to narrow down my favorite blogs to, so when I finally figured out I could just create another category later on to cover the ones I wasn't able to include here, I breathed a whole lot easier.

1.  Guilty Chocoholic Mama

Besides the fact that Elizabeth and I are freakishly similar in so many ways (although we can also be complete opposites on all sorts of things, too - see #s 3, 4, 5, & 7 on her "about me" list for some examples), she is an amazing writer whose posts bring me back for re-reads time and time again.

You'll get a giant helping of all things chocolate along with relatable mom stories that remind you you're not the only one dealing with things like finding absolutely every possible excuse not to clean your house and avoiding crafts like the plague.

Elizabeth has the rare gift of being able to write about meaningful and thought-provoking subjects, but with a sense of humor that has me in stitches every time I visit.  Head on over to load up on calories and chuckles at her blog today.

Another bloggy twin-separated-at-birth pal, Sarah Eliza's posts cheer me up even when I'm in a chipper mood already.  I love the fact that I'll read a book, consider writing a review on it, then click over to her site and see practically the same exact review I would have written already up over there.  I may read a bazillion words each month, but Sarah Eliza writes a bazillion.  She just finished up a successful month of participating in Nanowrimo, yet still managed to keep up her stream of hilarious posts and frivolity the whole time.

She and I have plans to meet up somewhere along I-10 sometime to hold our own little 2-person flash mob to Thriller, but until then, head on over to her site for a visit and a few laughs!

3.  House Unseen, Life Unscripted

Although she hasn't been posting so much lately, I'm always excited to find a new email from Dweej waiting for me in my inbox.  She started blogging after buying a house, unseen, off the Internet for $27,000 and then moving the entire family across the country to renovate it with a zero budget.

And at that price tag, you can just imagine the stories she had.  It's like watching The Money Pit all over again.

The family recently moved on from the house that started it all, but the renovation stories continue, recounted in classic Dwija style (read: hysterical narration).  If you mosey on over to her space in the blogosphere for a visit, I'm sure you'll be looking forward to the next installment of her tale, just like me.

4.  The Dating Divas

This blog is made up of posts by over 30 gals whose mission is to continue dating their spouses and keep life fun.  They offer a ton of free, colorful date ideas - many of which you can print for free and have all the work done for you!

Even when I don't have time to put their ideas into action (or my printer isn't working - sigh), I love to peruse their files to help me brainstorm my own date and gift ideas.  They even feature family activities, party ideas, and photography tips along with their spicy spouse hints.

The only bad thing is that whenever I head over there to look at something, I get sucked into the black hole of fun and before I know it, the clock has ticked past lunch and dinnertime is looming...

5.  Catholic All Year

If you've been around here for a while, you'll recognize this blog right off the bat.  I used to join Kendra every Sunday for her Answer Me This party and was super excited when she resurrected it again this past summer.  In fact, having so much fun participating in her party is what made me come up with the idea for this series.

She writes a lot about being Catholic and the liturgical year, but with a passel of kids (8 so far), she also writes about their homeschooling adventures, birthday parties, the way they parent, and big family trips which I find all sorts of fun.

She's also a fellow movie geek, so there's that, too.

For next week:

List 5 of your favorite Christmas songs

I'm a staunch no-things-Christmas-until-after-Thanksgiving gal, but once that date passes, I'm all about getting festive around here.  You can read about what we focus on each day for Advent and Christmas by reading this post.  I share all sorts of great Christmas music, movies and traditions for each day leading up to Christmas, along with my own version of a Jesse Tree/Advent calendar to make sure we keep the focus of the season on Jesus.  Click here to see what we're up to today, but then come back next week to see my list highlighting 5 of my favorite Christmas songs - I can't wait to see what yours are, too!

What's your list?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.

Also, if you don't want to miss a single minute of great tips like this and all the fun around here, be sure to sign up for free updates and then look forward to having each post delivered right to your inbox.
