The goal of this post is to capture a memory from the past week, either with a camera, words, or both.  Time passes in the blink of an eye and this will create a collection of treasured memories from throughout the year.

My Snapshot(s)

Fair Day finally arrived this past weekend!

It's an annual tradition (see past years here and here) to meet up with the cousins and spend the day with all things crazy and fun at the State Fair.

Something new - feeding grain to the critters!  Another family who was leaving the tent shared their still-full cup of food with Gv - how fun is that?

This year, we all had a load of laughs with our scavenger hunt (read all about it & download yours for free here) before returning home to devour a dish of these homemade corn dogs.

Big tip:  do NOT try to get all fancy and make these corn dogs with bratwurst sausages - no matter how much the store puts them on sale because it's Superbowl weekend.

It doesn't matter that they turn out to be cheaper than healthy hot dogs and sound absolutely delicious - they just don't work.

It was a great day, despite the fact that it was rainy and crowded and freezing - a high of 52 degrees!

What was your favorite memory from this past week?  I'd love to hear about it!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.

How kind that a family gave Gv a cup of food so she could feed the goats. Looks like she's having fun !
