At last week's party, we pumped you full of a bunch of blarney to get you ready for St. Patrick's Day.

This week, our minds are on the beginning of spring and we continue to recover from changing our clocks last weekend.

(changed to quotes only at a later date):

Even though our theme was all things spring, I couldn't help but focus on the whole time-change situation:

"Daylight savings. Clock in car won't be right."

...until I'm passengering (which is totally a verb, in our family), because then it will get fixed.

"Daylight savings. A week of waking up an hour early because pets & babies can't read clocks."

I'm holding out hope that an almost-three-year-old no longer falls into this category, but something tells me that's just wishful thinking.

"Daylight savings time. False. It's daylight saving time. We are not accumulating it for a rainy day."

I can never pass up a good Dwight Schrute quote!

"You were in two different places at the same time on the night that people change their clocks for daylight savings? Please tell me about your manipulation to the space-time continuum."

Or one from Willy Wonka, for that matter.

"Here's a thought - for daylight savings time, let's spring forward on Monday at 4pm"

Especially if you teach elementary school! (But change it to 3pm)

"Didn't change my clock during fall back. Don't have to change my clock during spring forward."

Come on, you know you've get at least one clock somewhere in the house that doesn't need switching!

"Reset all the clocks to the future!"

And, finally, if you are just so tired of this whole clock-changing thing and feel like giving up:

"Whatever."

My car clock and our kitchen stove clock. We just moved here 6 months ago and I can't figure out how to change the stove clock! I'm going to have to google it. Thanks for hosting!

I know, that clock cracked me up, too! Thanks for chiming in again this week!
Ahhhhh awesome and funny choices!! The time switch was awful, I still feel like we're sleeping poorly, ha. How was it with the munchkin?
1 reply · active 470 weeks ago
The munchkin has been handling the time change much better than HER FATHER. The poor guy is still struggling to adjust his schedule and still waking up and falling asleep at the same (old) time he was used to. We're hoping his body gets all switched over by next week!
