Friday Frivolity, Parker Posey Edition

At last week's party, we shared all sorts of silly letter-writing memes.  This week, we're honing in on female comedians.

This is a fun topic for us (remember the Amy Poehler edition?), especially since this time we left the leading lady choice open - I can't wait to see whom the other gals picked!

There's such a long list of funny females to choose from (I'm sure we'll revisit this topic again!), but I decided to go with Parker Posey, since this movie is coming out soon:

I could easily choose any of the hilarious ladies that are a part of this repertory group, but I went with Parker first because this character never fails to make me laugh:

(Did you know that there's no script for these movies? Guest & Levy write up sort of a background for each character and the general plot line, and then everything else is improvised.  OhMyGoodness, how do these actors come up with this stuff on their own?  It's hilarious!)

Although Best in Show is my favorite movie of the bunch, these other performances of Parker's are just as funny:
