Our Monthly Crafting Book Club members were all so sad to hear of author Anna Dewdney's recent passing, so we decided to remember her by creating a craft or activity to go along with her fabulous books.

I decided to get our bodies moving and created a new set of action dice (do you remember this one?) to go along with parts from these fun titles:

Llama Llama Red Pajama

Llama Llama Mad at Mama

You can print these cards out yourself and stick them in one of these great objects.

Don't have a set of super-cool dice, you say?  No problem.  Just adhere these onto each side of a square tissue box (like this) or make your own cube out of cardstock.

To play, just roll the die and act it out (make it more fun with props!).

Besides playing with this little toy, be sure to check out the official Llama Llama site for more fun ideas as well as online games!

I love coming up with book connections like this, how about you?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
