A girl's Bible is the most important book she'll ever own, but shouldn't it reflect her personality and style a bit, too?
I mean, if you're going to spend time with it every day, you certainly want it to put a smile on your face every time you see it!
That's just what this Bible will do for your daughters and granddaughters:
Way back when I was a little girl, I had my heart set on this:
I actually got it for my 13th birthday! I loved it - and that thing loved me back all the way through every course I took at Bible college!
I'd already been given a fancy, leather-bound Bible from my parents years earlier and had won one from Sunday School as well (Yay, Memorization Queen!), but neither one struck me the same way that my special Bible did.
That's why I think this girl's journaling Bible is so great.
Its hardback cover is girly, but without being so hip that it will quickly go out of style or so pink and lacy that it will make girls like me who aren't into pink and lace gag.
It has spunk. It oozes individualism.
But it's the same solid Word inside.
Speaking of inside, there is more to this Bible than its cool cover.
It also includes lines on each page for journaling and notes - and the pages are made out of thicker paper, which is perfect for all types of pencils or pens.
There's a coordinating turquoise ribbon marker for keeping your place and it has a built-in elastic strap that stretches over the entire thing to keep all those odds and ends that get collected inside.
This is my favorite part. (Odd, but true. Come on, count up how many church bulletins, holy cards, or sermon-note scraps you have shoved in your Bible right now!)
And I really appreciate that lined section on each page. It provides the perfect spot for fancy Bible journaling, but even if you're like me and not into that current fad, you can still fill it in with copious notes, without worrying about running out of room or distracting from the very text you're trying to focus on.
I highly recommend this book for any girl in your family who wants her personality to shine while toting this tome everywhere she goes - it will definitely insert a little spunk into her step!
Any gal will be sure to like this Bible (even a 40-something-yr-old like me!), but I think it is especially appropriate for girls aged 8 to 80 (those who can really take advantage of the journaling space that's such a special part of it.)
