We've added several baby Bibles to our collection over the few short years Gv has been around. Most feature one or two sentences for each Bible story covered as well as plenty of cute, colorful illustrations to give baby loads to look at.

I was intrigued by this title, when it arrived in the mail:

Jesus is with me page

I was most curious about the "play" aspect of this little board book, as the concept was one I hadn't encountered before and it's definitely the quality that makes this baby Bible unique!.

The activities give the reader ideas for coordinating things to do after reading each story.

Each little story is told in a line or two and matched up with an appropriate Bible verse and adorable artwork, but there are also related activities to match.

This one leads you through clapping baby's hands together, as well as saying a little prayer.

These activities are clever, but definitely tailored to a baby, so I suggest planning to use this book from birth through the young toddler years.

However, even though Gv is outside the target age of this Bible, she still enjoyed reading through all the stories with me - and who can resist these adorable pictures?

How cute are these little drawings?

This Bible includes all of the standard stories (creation, the flood, Moses, etc.) that you would expect in such a book, plus it includes a couple pages at the end which focus on heaven and God hearing our prayers.

Pages like this one serve as a great introductory devotional, too.

Although I definitely feel this book has a limited age range, I love how it provides parents with something extra to engage even their tiniest babies with - it's never too early to start reading to your child!

Grab your own copy here - it would make the perfect new baby or baby shower gift!

It is! I even gave one for a gift earlier this year and they loved it!
So fun! I think the interactive piece helps to engage kiddos and keep the lessons in kids' minds.

I agree, Becca! I thought it was such a clever idea to incorporate into a baby Bible like that!

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">It certainly is great for introducing little ones to it early!
Just a few months remaining, I will be the father of my child because my wife is pregnant for 8 months. I am thinking of my newborn child who will arrive in this world and have a right to get the arrival gift from me and I have decided that my child will get this Bible collection after his/her born.
