This book is definitely intended for girls well above Gv's age range, but that didn't prevent us from oohing and aahing over the cover when it arrived:

I just love that there are so many fabulous devotional books out there for young women these days and this one is definitely a great choice that's perfect for everyday use.

Each day's page includes a scripture verse, devotional reading, and journaling space for young ladies to fill with their thoughts on the day's message.

The topics cover nearly all the pressures and changes a girl faces these days and provides real-world applications to help them find out how God wants them to handle it all.

Although I feel this book is primarily tailored to teens, its topics might apply to more mature tweens as well. You can pick up your own copy of this pretty devotional here and help encourage your special young lady to uncover God's truth and guidance at this point in life.

Do you have a special young woman in your life who could benefit from this special devotional?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.

At what age do you think this book is appropriate? The format sounds perfect for my eldest daughter, but I'm guessing that she is still too young and innocent for the topics covered. I'll have to keep it in mind for the future. :)

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">I flipped through the book a bit more, just so I could check out the topics a bit better for you. I didn't come across anything that would be uncomfortable, innocence-wise. I'd say that the thing that makes it seem a bit older to me is just that it's presented in more of a "mature" way - meaning not all cutesy and jokey, but on a more serious level. I actually think YOU would LOVE this book yourself - it's beautiful and contemplative and seems like one you would really love, so I would think B would, too! 😉
I'm sure that you are right about me liking it for myself! ;) <3 And B. loves devo/journal/colouring types of books - so if it's still innocent enough topic-wise, it sounds like a good choice for her. Thank you for taking the time to check it out for us and let us know!
