This Bible beckoned to me from the shipping box, making me wish I was about three-and-a-half decades younger...

NIV Beautiful Word Coloring Bible for Girls

Even the cover-protector was appealing, but once I removed it, I fell in love with the vibrant teal leathersoft cover underneath.

I've never seen a Bible cover like this - it feels like leather to the touch, but is wrapped around a sturdy hard cover -- you get the best of both worlds!
I love the contrasting color of the presentation page!

But besides its beauty, there are scads of other great features to be found once you crack open the cover:

  • Lay-flat binding
  • Single-column text with extra-wide, lined margins for holding plenty of notes
  • Ready-to-color line art illustrating some of the most beloved Bible verses
  • Thicker pages to handle more types of writing implements (These are thicker than typical Bible pages, but I found they still weren't quite thick enough to prevent marker bleed-through.)
  • Easy-to-read font and NIV translation
  • Ribbon marker to hold your place

I love the idea of meditating on Bible verses while coloring!

This is definitely a Bible with loads of appeal and one that's just begging for gals to tote around everywhere and spend loads of time with.

And isn't that exactly what you hope for in a Bible for young ladies?

The blank margins actually have faint lines so that your notes stay nice and neat.

Even though this Bible is marketed to target the tween-aged girl, I feel like its appeal extends anywhere from younger elementary-aged girls all the way through adulthood.

I'm seriously trying to talk myself out of making it mine...

If you have a creative young woman in your life who would enjoy a bit of doodling or just enjoy a Bible full of beauty, then pick up a copy here!
