Project Snapshot - November 2018

Each month, Project Snapshot captures memories from the past weeks - either with a camera, words, or both.

Time passes in the blink of an eye - see which treasured memory will join the year's collection for this month:

My Snapshots

What have we been up to this past month? Take a look and see:

Gv had the fun experience of accompanying her cousin on a field trip at the beginning of the month! They went to a local farm where she was able to chase chickens, brush goats, ride a pony, go on a hay ride, and milk a cow!

It was 80's night at Awana and Gv had fun wearing this get-up:

I also managed to dig up my old charm necklace and 5 slinky bracelets, but they all fell apart pretty quickly. I guess cheap plastic doesn't hold up so well after 35-or-so years!

The remainder of the month was spent enjoying Thanksgiving travels. We explored the Southeastern Coast over three days and visited 6 National Park Units, where Gv had fun earning 9 Jr. Ranger badges and earning two more Master Junior Ranger patches to add to her now rather-large collection.

We were the only ones here on the day before Thanksgiving, which meant tons of time talking to the ranger and learning all sorts of interesting facts!

This ranger found she couldn't stump our Gv -- no matter which skulls she quizzed her on from the table, this NPS-crazy gal knew her stuff!
Ft. Frederica's Jr. Ranger booklet and program might have surpassed our previous favorite (at Ft. Scott) because not only did Gv get to explore with a fun-filled haversack, but the Jr. Ranger booklet was 3-D, too!

What were your favorite memories from this past month?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
