Project Snapshot - January 2020

Each month, Project Snapshot captures memories from the past weeks - either with a camera, words, or both.

Time passes in the blink of an eye - see which treasured memory will join the year's collection for this month:

My Snapshots

What have we been up to this past month? Take a look and see:

Gv spent the first night of the new year at her first sleepover! She had a blast with the cousins and enjoyed extra snuggle time with her aunt.

We were out of town for this event last year, but Gv was excited (& a little nervous) to participate in the 4-H cooking contest. G and I could see improvement between event 1 and 2 and the judges really seemed to enjoy her guacamole and protein balls for the Think Green and Breakfast categories!

Our 4-H Club organized a family camping night that was all that we'd hoped it would be and more. We are already looking forward to the next one with this great group of people.

Friends I've known my whole life were in town, so we met for bowling and dinner. We played two games and I was completely terrible (seriously, I scored a 27!) the first game, but got my groove back (not that I was anything fabulous; I just didn't stink quite so badly) for the 2nd game, after G suggested I start using Gv's 6-pound ball instead of the 10-pound one I'd been using. 8 pounds would probably have been ideal, but we were there during half-price bowling, so there were no eights to be had...

And that pretty much wrapped up our month! I wonder what wonderful memories next month will bring?
