My Snapshots

What have we been up to this past month? Take a look and see:

We dropped off the rest of this year's entries at the State Fair, but Gv still spent some time on practice batches of her muffin entry for the baking contest (submitted once the fair starts.)

Random life photo -- one of the many requests I get each month to "Quick! Take a photo of me hugging April!"

The local preserve held a tree celebration (we even got free trees!) and this activity where the kids got to be trees was loads of fun, although Gv wasn't too thrilled to learn she was caught in a storm and couldn't grow any more!

The rink celebrated its 5th anniversary by throwing a gala. We got all gussied up and asked our personal photographer to take a photo before we headed out the door.

There's a museum at a nearby college that we've been meaning to check out for forever. A student of Dali's was exhibiting there, so we finally managed to swing by and see it. Gv was able to "get" the art so much more since she'd visited the Dali Museum earlier this year.

And that pretty much wrapped up our month! I wonder what wonderful memories next month will bring?
