I received a free copy of this product as a member of Zondervan's Kidz Review Krew in exchange for writing a review. All opinions are my own.
I'm sure this will happen to us for the rest of our lives, but we groaned when we received this book, because we wished it had existed about ten years earlier:
This Bible remains our favorite children's Bible and we constantly give it to others for gifts because of that, and I can totally see adding this fun craft book to the package the next time!
Even though Gv -- sniff! -- is a bit old now for most of the projects found in this book, it would have been the perfect companion for all of our Latticed Learning weeks, since it follows the stories in the Bible that we based our learning on!
This book would also be a fabulous resource for Sunday School or VBS teachers -- it would take the guesswork out of craft time, since the projects match up with the Bible stories so well!
Kids will love transforming everyday objects into artful masterpieces as they complete these crafts and recipes.
Parents and teachers will not only love that use of common household items, but the easy-to-follow instructions and shopping guide as well.
Despite the fact that Gv found a couple of projects she wants to try before we pack the book away, this title is probably ideally suited for ages 4-8.
If your family or group includes a mix of ages that fall outside of that range, don't be afraid to still make use of this resource, because plenty of activities could be enjoyed by a wide age range, especially in a mixed-group setting.
Pick up a copy and enjoy turning Bible study into playtime with your child today!
