The goal of this post is to capture a memory from the past week, either with a camera, words, or both.  Time passes in the blink of an eye and this will create a collection of treasured memories from throughout the year.

My Snapshot(s)

It was time for our annual trip to the state fair this past weekend and boy, did we have fun!

Fish!  This was possibly Gv's favorite part of the fair.  It's always fun to check out the aquarium competition (and this year's best in show winner was amazing), but we had no clue how much time Gv would spend running up to each tank, pointing out all the FISH and giggling uncontrollably.  It almost makes me want to set up a tank here at home...

The Ag Exhibit is always a winner, but this year Gv got more out of it than just some paper pig ears.  When handed her container at the butter table and given the instructions to "shake well," she really took it to heart.  Just look at the way her jaw is set with determination as she churns that cream into butter!

Although it wasn't quite as much of a focus for us this year, we still managed to check off quite a few items off our scavenger hunt list.  One tradition we decided to change this year was our annual corn dog ‐ instead, we're trying our own (healthier) version here at home.  Let me know if you're interested in hearing how that goes...

What was your favorite memory from this past week?  I'd love to hear about it!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
