Back just before Thanksgiving, my bloggy friend Sarah Eliza over at Devastate Boredom asked me to guest co-host her hilarious Friday Frivolity link-up, and we had such a great time working together, we've decided to make it a regular partnership!

We're also being joined by Audrey over at Munofore to bring you this weekly collection of all things crazy and funny (as well as happy & hopeful) to help brighten your day.

We'll each post our own group of silly memes (so go check out their posts, too!) and then you get to link up your favorite fun posts from the week, too.

This week, we're taking a look at how those New Year's goals are going:

To begin with, if you read this recent post of mine, you'll know that these first two little gems are particularly appropriate:

(Changing the memes to quotes-only at a later point):
"I'm going to make a New Year's resolution! *2 Days Later* Aaaaaand it's broken!"

"Dear New Year's Resolution, Well, it was fun while it lasted. Sincerely, January 2nd."

"Ever make mistakes in life? Let's make them birds. Yeah, they're birds now."

(Be sure to include plenty of happy little clouds & trees, as well!)

"Take a walk every day...or at least briefly consider it."

"12 Legitimately life-improving new year's resolutions you can steal from dogs: 1) eat more stuff that makes you feel good. 2) poop frequently. 3) greet everything. 4) pick fights with shoes & pillows. 5) smell things that look interesting. 6) be less scared of telephones & strangers. 7) run outside & yell more. 8) forget what you were doing & nap instead. 9) take care of your genitals. 10) be nice to nice people. 11) fart without shame. 12) worry less about things you can't eat or play with."

I, for one, am planning to focus on numbers 7 & 11 and I know G will make #8 his sole goal...

And, finally, just so I won't be the only one with this song stuck in my head:

"I'm so broke this New Year's I'm gonna party like it's $19.99!"

Now, on to the link-up!:
