I received free products for this post from Dayspring in exchange for writing a review.  All opinions are my own.

Today I'm also over at Pam Barnhill's site talking about The Blessings of Holiday Traditions for Preschoolers. If you're already starting to feel frazzled by the thought of all you have to do this holiday season and are wondering whether it's all worth it, be sure to click on over to find the answer to that question.

But over here, I'm sharing some great updates to one of our favorite traditions and if you haven't joined us on the journey before, you'll want to be sure to read everything I share before you leave today!

Do you remember the new Christmas ADVENTure I introduced you to last year?

Shepherd on the Search proved to be an amazing addition to our family's holiday preparations!

Not only did we discover our shepherd Hezzie in new spots around the house each day leading up to Christmas, but he brought with him exciting new things to share about the countries he visited each night as he traveled around the world in search of baby Jesus!

These are just a few of the spots we found Hezzie at each morning, often giving us clues as to which country he'd visited the night before!

Hezzie taught us so many things about how different countries around the world celebrate Christmas and we had fun with the crafts and activities each day!

(In case you're new here or don't remember way back that far, click on over to this post for an introduction to The Shepherd on the Search, then click over to this one to learn all about his amazing journey around the world and then be sure to grab a Travel Kit so your family can enjoy the journey, too!)

This year, I was excited to learn that several new products had been added to the Shepherd on the Search collection. I was able to check out two of them to share with you here:

First, Shepherd creator Josh Helms has created a 25-Day Family Devotional that includes daily Scripture readings, suggestions for discussion, special activities and daily prayers to go along with your Shepherd on the Search Kit.

This handy little book is great to grab and read from each evening as a family!

Each day focuses on a different aspect of the shepherd's wait and describes all the anticipation from his own unique point of view.

It's the perfect way to enhance your time spent together as a family with this daily tradition in a simple manner.

Each day includes activities and prayers to do as a family.

At the end of the book, you'll find the text from the Christmas Story.

Additionally, there is now also an activity and sticker book to accompany your Shepherd Kit and enhance the experience for your little ones.

Many of the pages are line art taken directly from the book, with added pages including things like mazes and word searches thrown in.

Of course, stickers always make things more fun, so the two extra pages of coordinating stickers really add to the enjoyment for your kids.
