Friday Frivolity - 5 Books I Want To Read This Year

It's time for this week's edition of Friday Frivolity - the blog party for all things fun, funny, hopeful & happy!

Just wait until you see what we dug up for this week's theme...

At last week's party, we talked about the things we hadn't been expecting about motherhood.

This week, we're sharing five books on our to-read stack for the year!

1. There's No Such Thing As Bad Weather

This is the next in my book-binge on all things Hygge. I've already got it on my nightstand, so I'm sure I'll be starting it soon.

2. Don Quioxte

I decided after reading The Well-Educated Mind last year that I'd fill in all my reading gaps and even roped G into joining me on the journey. This is the first book in the list and I'm about a quarter of the way through it already and can't wait to be done with it.

It's just not doing much for me. At least the chapters are super-short, so I can make myself knock out one or two each morning and keep plugging away.

G decided to make things a little more interesting for himself and is reading his version in Spanish.

Crazy man.

3. Travels with Charley

I love memoirs and books about travel and so when I realized this book existed, I knew I had to read it.

4. A Moveable Feast

Another memoir - and this one revolves around Paris, so it ticks off that travel box, too.

5. Cork Dork

I am halfway through this one and have been amazed at all the craziness in the lives of sommeliers. Plus, I love the title!

Now time for the new stuff!
