At last week's party, we shared our favorite ways to keep the marriage spark alive.

This week brings us International Museum Day, so we're sharing our favorite museums around the world.

I love visiting museums, so this list is pretty difficult to whittle down to just five. There are many more that could make this list, but here are the first five that come to my mind when I think of museums that I love:

1. The Smithsonian Museums, Washington DC

Yeah, I know I started off this whole thing with a big cheat, since this includes a whole, big list of several of my favorite museums just in this one item.

But these museums are easily my favorite in this country and I just don't think I'll ever get tired of visiting them!

2. The Prado, Madrid

There are many museums that are great like this one, but since my favorite work of art resides here, I had to make sure it made the list.

3. The Vatican Museums, Vatican City

On one hand, this museum drives me bonkers, because it's just too big. But how can a place that has so much not make my top list? Plus, you wind up in the Sistine Chapel at the end, which I can easily spend hours getting a crick in my neck for!

4. The Pinakothek Galleries, Munich

Yup, here I go cheating again, but I just couldn't choose one favorite out of all of these great museums. I'm also really antsy to return because there was an entire room full of paintings that I loved that I can't for the life of me remember the names of, or even the artists, or even the style...I want to say they were Flemish, but can only remember that they had a bazillion tiny little fine details and were painted in really vivid colors...any art experts out there have any clues to solve my dilemma?

5. The Tate Modern, London

I actually prefer the art so much more in a bunch of other museums (I didn't even touch any in France or the Netherlands!), but I just have a special connection to this museum. It's free, it's open late, it's in a cool building, it has weird, revolving exhibits that take up much of its vast interior, and it looks really cool lit up at night.

Plus, it's at one end of my favorite London bridge across from another of my favorite sites, St. Paul's Cathedral.

Now time for the new stuff!
