The freedom, the experience, the wonder of worship. It is seeing the church come together, hands lifted to God, pouring out our praise with an eternal song in our hearts. It’s every voice together, changing the way we worship.

Anyone who goes to church or is acquainted with Christian music will immediately recognize the name Chris Tomlin. A good chunk of the worship music (like "How Great is Our God" & "Whom Shall I Fear") that we sing today springs from this artist's creative well.
This spring, Chris marked a career milestone by launching his own imprint record label, Bowyer & Bow, in partnership with Capitol Christian Music Group. This album is the result of these new efforts.
HOLY ROAR is a response to the collective voice of the church that Chris has been such a huge part of over these past years.
This new album features "Resurrection Power" and the single "Nobody Loves Me Like You" -- songs written specifically for the church that run the spectrum of worship from personal reflections to shouts of praise.
I was excited to get a sneak peek -- or rather, a sneak listen -- of these new songs and they are all just so good!
I loved "Nobody Loves Me Like You" and the final song on the album, "How Sweet It Is," but my favorite track is probably "Goodness, Love and Mercy," which is based on the 23rd Psalm.
Even though this album just arrived, it has been looping through the car speakers and has made the trip back into the house from the car several times because Gv and I can't get enough of it!
Her favorite songs are "Praise Him Forever" and "Holy Roar" and she has already decided that they both "need" to be included on her next summer's VBS CD, because she's already come up with all sorts of hand motions and dance moves to go along with them!
And as a bonus, I learned that the book Holy Roar: 7 Words That Will Change the Way You Worship is being re-released as a companion to this CD! I haven't had a chance to see it yet, but I'm definitely interested in reading more about the stories behind some of the songs. Let me know what you think, if you have the opportunity to check it out.
I'm sure we'll all be getting acquainted with these new HOLY ROAR worship songs at church soon, but you won't be sorry to get a jump on things by adding this album to your collection! Order the CD yourself here or from Amazon and sing some new songs to God today.
