I can't believe how many different Bible styles there are out there for kids nowadays and this one is just so pretty:
Gv immediately fell in love with the marbled-and-foil cover and especially loved all the gold on the paper edges.
Inside this Bible, you'll find the NIV translation and words of Jesus in red.
The pages also feature lined, wide margins that are perfect for journaling, notes, and art.
The suggested age of this Bible is for girls ages 8 to 12. While I'm sure there are plenty of girls out there in that age range who would love this Bible, I personally think that it's even better for teens and adults.
There are so many children's Bibles that I've reviewed that are full of additional maps and background information that help break down the text and introduce kids to the Bible, so I personally think one of those options is better for kids up through the pre-teen range.
However, once your kids get past that range, then I could see more of a need for a Bible with journaling and note-taking space, with less of a need for all those "extras."
That's why I feel this Bible is a great choice for a female who wants a standard Bible with margin space that looks fabulous at the same time.
Regardless of what age you think it's best for, if you're looking for a pretty Bible, then this is a great choice.
Pick one up here and add a little artistic flair to Bible-reading time!
Do you prefer children's Bibles with lots of fun features inside, or those that are more basic, but look appealing on the outside? I'd love to hear! Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
