Each month, Project Snapshot captures memories from the past weeks - either with a camera, words, or both.
Time passes in the blink of an eye - see which treasured memory will join the year's collection for this month:

My Snapshots
What have we been up to this past month? Take a look and see:
I couldn't believe it, but I didn't take a single photo with my camera all month! I knew things were boring around here due to Covid, but geez, that's just crazy!
One thing we did do a lot of was play games. LOTS of games. And I actually do have photos of those, because I document all our game-playing with my phone to stick on Gv's SeeSaw portfolio that I set up (because games totally count as school!)
Here are a few of the games we've been playing the most lately:
Catan Dice - which is in the same "world" as the regular game, but also totally different, so they are both worth having. |
Munchkin (although, be warned: your family will totally gang up on you!) |
Trekking the Parks - this is probably our current favorite, seeing how we've played it at least once every single weekend for the past two months! |
Carcassonne - We got the Big Box full of a bazillion expansions and we still have like five or six we haven't incorporated yet. I highly recommend the bazillion expansions, as they add SO MUCH more fun to the game! |
Parks - I am still totally in love with this game. It's just so pretty and loads of fun and we've probably played it almost as much as the other one. |
Besides these, Gv usually asks to play Sleeping Queens or Kingdomino, Final Touch has been a fun new addition, Cat Crimes has turned out to be fun for all of us (one at a time), and we continue to enjoy lots of Dragonwood, Dutch Blitz, Mancala and Sushi Go. We also usually play at least one game from outside this list each weekend and those are always fun, too -- except for a recent game of Upwords that is about to join the "giveaway" pile because we all basically wanted to get the game over with immediately after we started playing it.
Edited to add that I don't think it'll be going in the giveaway pile after all, because I just noticed that my 1983 edition is worth a ton of money now! 😲
