Project Snapshot - June/July 2025

Each month, Project Snapshot captures memories from the past weeks - either with a camera, words, or both.

Time passes in the blink of an eye - see which treasured memories will join the year's collection:

My Snapshots

What have we been up to in the past two months? Take a look and see:

Recovering from last fall's hurricanes meant taking a year off from our annual massive road trip to install a new fence instead, so this summer might have looked a bit different from usual, but we still managed to have a few adventures:

Yet another reason to love the library, staying home meant we could take advantage of free weekly ballroom dancing lessons as a family!

We were able to get away for a bit after all, joining my cousin and her husband at a family reunion in MS and then spending a couple of weeks at a cabin in the mountains for all sorts of family shenanigans, including introducing them to this new favorite game.

We even managed to visit one national park during our visit -- no new badges for Gv, but it still checked the NPS box off our summer list

We even squeezed in a couple of hikes while in the mountains.

Remember when our summers looked like this? We hadn't been to Asheville since then, so had fun revisiting the town again.

It's not the 4th of July without sparklers, right?

We bookended our getaway with lots of Disney time. Just a little bit of time left on our passes, so we wanted to eke out every last cent's worth!

Another fun library event, this one was a tasting challenge. Some were delicious, but some were not!

Harry Potter fun at a friend's birthday party.

Back to visit the mouse while trying not to melt in Florida's 113 heat index.

And that wraps up the summer! I wonder what next month has in store for us...
