It's time for another round of 5 After 5!  In case you missed it, last week's list was 5 of your favorite smells and if you're new to this series, you can read more about it here.

Today I've got my list of 5 to share, as well as next week's topic for you to stew about over the upcoming days.

And if you've posted your own 5 After 5 list on your blog, I've turned this series into a link party - so be sure to get your own 5 things added below (or leave your answers in today's comments if you're not a blogger).  I loved reading everyone's comments from last week and I really can't wait to see what you share today!

List 5 of Your Favorite Sauces or Condiments

I'm not usually one to hide all my food's flavor under some puddle of goo, but there are times when I slather on the condiments just as much as the next gal.  (Not with fries, though.  Never, ever with fries - those things need to be naked!)

1.  Mustard

It's rare that I have a hot dog (unless it's my once-a-year corn dog for the State Fair!), but when I do, I choose mustard over ketchup.  Unless I'm extra-starved, and then I'll stick whatever I can on top, just to get more food...

Yummy homemade corn dog - with mustard!

2.  Hollandaise Sauce

I think I was probably close to 30 before I'd ever tried this sauce, but once I discovered the great tang it gave to broccoli, I've been a fan ever since.  Mmmm...might have to give my forearms a workout and whip some up for dinner...

I've never actually put Hollandaise Sauce on anything besides broccoli...these asparagus spears would probably be good, but what do you like to put it on best?

3.  Wasabi & Ginger

I love the combination of these two strong flavors with sushi - I'll even eat them straight if I have any left after finishing off my rolls of fish!

4.  Horsey Sauce

We don't really ever eat fast food (although we did get some for free recently), but very rarely, on a road trip, G will get a hankering for an Arby's sandwich.  I get all excited when that happens because it means I get curly fries with my meal.  I usually squeeze out about 5 packets of horseradish goodness before my little sandwich is gone...

I can put away some horseradish, let me tell you.  That's why I was in hog heaven when I discovered this bowl of deliciousness in Rothenburg, Germany:

Believe it or not, this is horseradish soup and it was incredible and an especially welcome break in the land of pork-everything.

5.  Cheese

Ah, Amsterdam, where we could stuff ourselves full of cheese samples on almost every block!

Because covering anything in cheese always makes it five bazillion times better and I don't even care that it's not technically a condiment or a sauce, because when you eat cheese like we do around here, it counts!

For next week:

List 5 Unique Places You've Visited

This could be a location that only a few people have seen (like Antarctica), or even someplace that almost everyone has visited (like Walt Disney World), but that you've discovered a hidden surprise in (there are some bathrooms in EPCOT that never have a line because no one knows they're there!)

What's your list?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
