Am I the only one who feels like I blinked and the week was over?

Even though I'm no longer in the classroom, G is, so that means our lives revolve around the school calendar.  He had Monday off (woo-hoo for extra family time!) and then Tuesday was a no-student day (report card fun), so it felt like Wednesday was Monday and if it weren't for the fact that this party is called Friday Frivolity, I still wouldn't know what day it is!

At last week's party, we were all about those great resolution plans that were made and kept for approximately 2,368 minutes.

This week, we're not giving up on our goals, and sharing a little bit of inspiration and encouragement.

(Changing the memes to quotes-only at a later point):

A pep-talk to begin with:

"Carl, you're going to get out there & you're going to catch that red dot."

Next, some good things to keep in mind:

"Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway." Earl Nightingale

"Giving up on your goal because of one setback is like slashing your other 3 tires because you got a flat."

"Determination: Anything is possible if you have the intelligence & willpower to make it happen!"

And finally, just because I couldn't let a skating reference go (even though it's from the wrong side of the rink):

"Goals don't score themselves."

Now, on to the link-up!

Featured Post from Last Week:
Three hosts means THREE FEATURES.... but you will have to go check out the other two blogs to see if you were featured there!

The featured post for Syncopated Mama this week is........

Erin's post on the Ibotta app over at Stay at Home Yogi was just what I needed to give the idea another try.

I don't have a smart phone, but I do have a Nook, and I'd checked this money-saving app out several years ago when I first got it.  The problem was, only one store in our area was participating, and none of the items listed for rebates were things we'd ever think of buying.

Erin gave some examples of what you might find on the app nowadays, which prompted me to go re-examine the tool for myself.

I'm hoping our next shopping outing will produce many rebates!

I LOVE your memes!! ;P The red dot one made me chuckle out loud, and then my husband had to see it too (he approved! ;P). Also love LOVE the one about the tires... so true! That's a really smart perspective. :)
