It's time for another round of 5 After 5!  In case you missed it, last week's list was 5 kinds of candy you love to eat and if you're new to this series, you can read more about it here.

Today I've got my list of 5 to share, as well as next week's topic for you to stew about over the upcoming days.

And if you've posted your own 5 After 5 list on your blog, I've turned this series into a link party - so be sure to get your own 5 things added below (or leave your answers in today's comments if you're not a blogger).  I loved reading everyone's comments from last week and I really can't wait to see what you share today!

List 5 of  your all-time favorite movies

What was I thinking?  There's no way I can narrow down my all-time favorite movies to just five!  Even after designating some of my top picks to different movie categories, I was still left with way too many to choose from.

So, here are five of my all-time favorite movies:

1.  The Italian Job

I love a good action movie.  Give me bank heists, mobsters and spies and I'm happy.  This one is definitely way up there on my list.  It's got a great score, is paced perfectly, and is just plain fun (and I love how the group gets the bad guy in the end!)

This movie always puts me in an existential mood, but in a good way.  G loves movies that make him think, no matter how dark and depressing they might be, but I like clever movies like this one that are not only thoughtful, but fun to watch at the same time.  Plus, anything starring Don Knotts and set back in Leave it to Beaver days is sure to be good.

3.  Catch Me if You Can

Sometimes true-life stories can be even more fantastical than fictional ones, and this movie is the perfect example of that.  Can you even imagine getting away with a life like that?  And the bonus is that this is one of those movies where the time period is its own character - everything's so stylized and I just love it!

4.  Bride and Prejudice

I love this movie so much, and not just because it's what I watched on my first transatlantic flight ever.  This flick led me down a Bollywood-obsessed path that I'm just now stepping off of.  It's Jane Austin like you've never seen her before - more vivid colors than you ever imagined and an energizing soundtrack that is sure to get even the lumpiest couch potato up and dancing.

5.  Royal Wedding

I've talked about this movie plenty of times before, but it is my all-time favorite, so I can't leave it off this list.  I even wrote a whole paper on Stanley Donen in college because of my love of this film (it didn't hurt that he also directed several of my other favorite movies - to be included on later lists!)

For next week:

List 5 must-have beauty items

If you know me in person, you know that my laziness extends to my beauty routine, too.

I got my two-minute-makeup routine down pat way back in Junior High and when I no longer needed my hair long enough to put in a ponytail (for skating) and went looking for a new style, my requirements to the hairdresser were that it stay out of my face and be something I didn't have to mess with.  (Brush, scrunch, & go works for me!)

Think of five of the beauty or hygiene items that you can't live without - I can't wait to hear what they are!

What's your list?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
