Friday Frivolity, Puns Edition

At last week's party, we had some fun with the topic of camping.  

This week, we're having loads of "pun" of a different kind...

I love puns.  There's just so clever and always catch me by surprise.  

One of my favorite books that I always used with my tutoring students was Punished, by David Lubar.



Not only is this book full of fun puns, but requires the reader to solve many riddles, as well.

Until you have a chance to check this book out for yourself, I'll let these "punnies" tide you over:

Of course, this one pretty much has no relevance in today's world (compulsory school figures were abolished years ago), but it made total sense, back in my day...
