Eeek!  A friend just shared her excitement over the fact that there are less than 100 days until Christmas right now.

I can't handle that knowledge right now.

I mean, I'm not even ready to think about Halloween costumes yet, much less that busy time of year that is so full of cheer.

But I have just discovered a secret weapon for whittling down that gift list way before the weather turns chilly (or at least not-quite-as-sweltering, if you live down here in Heats-ville).

I've shared in the past how Groupons are one of our big tricks for achieving free, month-long summer camping trips in the mountains, but as I was poking around the site the other day, just trolling for great deals in our area, I noticed a drop-down menu at the top for Groupon Goods.

What?  You can buy stuff here, too?

I had no clue.

Turns out, there's a list a mile long of actual things you can buy from the website, all at typical crazy-deal Groupon prices.

All I can say is, I think I'll have all of my Christmas shopping done pretty soon...

(And pssst...I just noticed that you can get 25% off your first Groupon with a code listed at the top of the home page, so if you've never taken advantage of their money-saving deals before, now would be a great time!)

Like their typical local deals, Groupon Goods has offers specific to your city and region, so click on over and see what deals are available in your area!

Did you have any clue that Groupon offered more than just local deals?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
