31 Games - Pass and Cup

Is your 3-year-old the youngest of the family, or are all the kids your child plays with close to that same age?  If so, then you know how difficult it can be to find ways for them to all be involved in the fun and games - so many choices are just too advanced for this age.

But now, you'll have a list of 31 unique games that even a 3-year-old can join in with.  A few of these ideas will be best for the preschool set, but most will work for a wide range of ages!

This simple passing game is not only great for kids, but as a silly party game for adults as well!

Pass and Cup

Players:  8+ (even number)

Ages:  3 +

Place:  anywhere

Equipment:  2 identical piles of 10ish small objects (coins, beans, buttons, marbles, birthday candles, etc.)

How to play:  Divide players into two equal teams.  The members of each team sit in a line, side by side, facing the other team.

A pile of identical objects is placed next to the first player in the line.

When the adult yells, "On your mark, get set, GO!" player 1 picks up one object and drops it into the cupped hands of player 2.  Player 3 then takes the object from player 2's hands and drops it into player 4's hands.

When the object makes it to the end of the line, the last player sets it in a pile on the ground and player 1 starts the next object down the line again.

Any player who drops the object must retrieve it and keep going.

The first team to pass all the objects down the line is the winner.
