Gv enjoyed her Berenstain Bears Christmas Fun Sticker and Activity book so much, I knew she would be over the moon to get a similar one for Valentine's Day!

We love the Berenstain Bears around here - I have such fond memories of so many of their books from when I was little and since the themes and illustrations in them are so timeless, they're some of Gv's favorites, too!

This glossy book is about the size of a standard piece of copy paper.  It has 32 pages and over 50 reusable stickers.

See that ice skater sticker in the corner? This book ended up being perfect for how we used it!

When I learned I'd have the opportunity to review this book, I planned to give it to Gv for a little Valentine's present.

We've never done gifts for Valentine's Day before, but I thought this book would be the perfect treat for her this year - just a little something special to say "I love you" on this day.

But then the new rink opened and Gv and G started spending the weekends camped out in the cushy lobby (next to the fireplace!) while I was out teaching lessons on the ice.

We hauled a big ol' bag of books and things in with us to keep Gv occupied, but I realized I could give everyone's back a break for a week or two by just bringing this one book by itself.

So, instead of the book being a Valentine's gift (which it would still be perfect for!), it ended up being a fabulous treat for her to play with all month leading up to the holiday!

Like the Christmas book, the activities are so varied - mazes, word searches, connect-the-dots, hidden pictures and several pages to color once you add the stickers to their spots.

Can you spot the 6 differences?

One especially fun page required following directions - G needed to read the directions to Gv, but then she was able to add the stickers to the appropriate places.

I love how this page helps little ones practice their positional words!

This book is well worth the small investment and the fact that the stickers can be moved around on the slick pages means that we can pack it away with our other Valentine's Day books, then pull it out and enjoy it all over again year after year!

Oooh! A rainbow! I love this page!

One thing I always appreciate about Berenstain Bears books is that they focus on Christian themes and values, but in a gentle way that people of any faith can appreciate.

The same goes for this book.  It has activities centered around God's love for us and even includes several Bible verses - while focusing on hearts and love within a family and general Valentine's fun, as well.

Another rainbow! And it's nice to have some pages already filled in, in addition to those that can be colored.

I think this book is great for little ones up through the elementary years.  The stickers can be enjoyed by the youngest readers, yet there are still plenty of pages to keep older kids interested, too.

That's why I feel this activity book will last us several years. Each year, Gv will be able to complete additional activities, leaving the ones she's not quite ready for yet until the next year!

Gv could do this - if G or I write the letters for her - but we're saving it for another year.

I heartily recommend this book to anyone looking for something fun (& quiet!) to occupy kids from the toddler to elementary ages.

You can order your own copy here!  (It would make a great gift for your little Valentine!)
