Friday Frivolity - St. Patrick's Day Edition

It's time for this week's edition of Friday Frivolity - the blog party for all things fun, funny, hopeful & happy!

Just wait until you see what we dug up for this week's theme...

At last week's party, we took time to remember some of the most inspirational women in history.

This week, we're going a bit green as we focus on all things Irish for St. Patrick's Day.

I decided to share some great vintage Guinness posters with you, all photographed by me at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin. Some of these really cracked me up!

Great. Now I've got the songs stuck in my head, too:

Now time for the new stuff!

I can't even remember if I wore green this year -- although the chances are high, because it's my favorite color!
Those Guinness ads are great! love the one with the ostrich! I'm failing at St. Patrick's Day this year -we're having leftover chili for dinner early so he can head off to a Friday night class.

We didn't do much for St. Patrick's Day this year, either. Glad you enjoyed the Guinness ads, Lynda!
Planning a green supper and an evening with the family!
Hilarious! This year I didn't do anything exciting for St. Patty's Day. I feel slightly disappointed in myself, but I just didn't have it in me this year. Thank you for hosting and for the laugh. Also thank you linking up with my party as well. Happy Weekend :)

Some years we go all out on holidays like this, and some we just let pass on by, so I hear you, Paula! We didn't even eat our traditional meal for it, this year!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful post at #OverTheMoon. I look forward to what you will share next week! Like someone in person today! We hope you’ll come back again next Sunday when we open our doors at 6:00 PM EST. Pinned and tweeted!
