Everyone has always raved about this children's Bible, so I was over the moon to get my hands on a copy and check it out firsthand.
I was not disappointed - and this gorgeous keepsake edition will surely become a treasure in your house, too!
I received a free copy of this product as a member of Zondervan's Z Blog Squad in exchange for writing a review. All opinions are my own.
We are very attached to our favorite children's Bible, but enjoy reading our weekly Latticed Learning Bible stories from other versions each day of the week to give us different perspectives.
We have about four that we rotate through and we had been just re-reading one of them on Fridays, but then this arrived:
This 352-page clothbound edition is a gorgeous addition to our collection!
Jago's rich illustrations are a feast for the eyes, making this Bible a wonderful choice for even the tiniest disciples.
Author Sally Lloyd-Jones does a remarkable job not only vividly describing each story in imaginative narrative form, but also in weaving the story of Jesus throughout each tale.
From the moment you crack open its pages, you quickly learn that (as the subtitle states) every story truly does whisper His name.
Other children's storybook Bibles usually present their information in a concise fashion in order to get the main points of the stories across in a way that little minds can most easily grasp - which is great, but this book does not follow a similar pattern.
No, with this volume, you can expect to sit with your children and truly ignite their imagination.
The author paints each scene with such brilliant, detailed pictures, the reader will be transported right into the middle of the action - a perfect introduction to Ignatian Contemplation and a way to connect your little learners to the stories in a way that will make the message truly come alive!
So even if you're like us and already have a children's Bible you're really attached to, consider adding this one to your collection. It does a fabulous job helping to round out your child's understanding of the stories in a unique way, from the moment he or she is born well throughout the elementary years.

I love discovering books that introduce both truth and beauty into our lives. Have you experienced this one in your family? I'd love to hear! Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
