5 After 5, Dips Edition

Mmmm...there's nothing that entices me to eat my veggies like a yummy dip!

We're sharing some of our favorites at this week's 5 After 5.

It's time for another round of 5 After 5!  In case you missed it, last week's list was favorite ways to celebrate 4th of July and if you're new to this series, you can read more about it here - then catch up on all the old editions here.

Today I've got my list of 5 to share, as well as next week's topic for you to stew about over the upcoming days.

And this series is a link party, so be sure to scroll down and join in all the fun with us this week!

Favorite Dips

I rarely come across a dip I don't care for. Here are five of my favorites:

1. Hummus

Hummus is one of those bases (like popcorn) that I go crazy with and design flavors to match my mood.

Check out 30 Ways with Hummus to see what I mean.

2. Spinach Artichoke Dip

This is always a winner and even G gets to enjoy it with this dairy-free version I created!

3. Dill Pickle Dip

I may not be quite as enamored with dill pickles as the Duggars, but I probably come close.

That's why this dip is definitely on my list -- and it's another that I made dairy-free so I could share it with G (What was I thinking? I could have had more for me!)

4. Briny Kalamata Olive Dip

My cousin pretty much begs me to make this stuff every time we get together -- and I can just about bribe her to do anything, if I pay her off with a batch of it, too!

5. Creamy Pesto Spinach Dip

I could eat spinach all day, every day and never get tired of it. This dip is just one of the many fabulous ways I'd choose to consume it, too! (Though it is is definitely not dairy-free!)

For next week:

Favorite outside games to play with children

Gv's just starting to play a few outdoor games beyond the initial Hide & Seek. I can't wait to see what outdoor kid's games you love!

That's right, every post will be read, pinned and tweeted!

Every Saturday, just stop by one of our blogs to add your own list of five, then pop over and read as many other posts as you're able to each week - treat it like a true party and really mix it up and mingle with our fun little community!

The rules are simple:  just write your own list following the prompt each week (feel free to interpret it loosely - or in a unique way!), follow both of the hosts on the social media channel of your choice, and then get into the spirit of the party by grabbing your favorite beverage or snack and reading the lists of the other party-goers.

Your Hosts:

Samantha, at Motivated DaysTwitter // Pinterest // Google+

What's your list?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
