Friday Frivolity - Library Edition

It's time for this week's edition of Friday Frivolity - the blog party for all things fun, funny, hopeful & happy!

Just wait until you see what we dug up for this week's theme...

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. This means if you click on a link and purchase something, I'll receive a small affiliate commission at no cost to you. Thanks so much for supporting my efforts with this blog!

At last week's partywe traveled to Germany for some Oktoberfest fun.

This week brings us Libraries Day, so we're talking about one of my favorite things: books, books, books!

It's no secret that we love the library around here and I've even shared all sorts of library tips with you, like:

15 Reasons to LOVE the Library!
 And:

Library Resources for Preschoolers

I've even extolled the benefits of the library on other blogs, as well:

The Bountiful Benefits of the Library for Preschoolers

You can pretty much find library books all around our house -- our library system allows each card a limit of 50 items which can be checked out at one time and we're always maxed out.

That means we have 150 videos, CDs, picture books, textbooks, research books and books-for-fun scattered throughout the joint. (No wonder it's always a mess around here!)

Not to mention all the books I have on my Nook. (I think that limit is 20...)

So here's my question to you today: how many library items are sitting around your home right now?

Now time for the new stuff!

Featured Post from Last Week:

In a fun twist, since we have multiple hosts and co-hosts we will also have multiple features.... but you will have to go check out the other blogs to see if you were featured there!  ;)

The featured post for Syncopated Mama this week is........

BBQ Spaghetti by the Bearded Hiker! For the second week in a row, I hung out in Jaxx's kitchen. Not only does this recipe sound fabulous, but I am totally intrigued by the fact that he makes his own backpacking food in his food dehydrator -- why have I never thought of that??

I might just have to dig out my fruit leather tray and try this out for our next trip out in the woods!

Now, the new stuff!

This a link-up for all things funny, fun, encouraging, hopeful, and happy. That includes free printables, giveaways, and other fun stuff to make us SMILE and start the weekend off on the right foot. If you're here in search of fun and uplifting reading materials, skip the rules and just start clickin'! Bloggy buddies, thanks for coming to par-tay! You are welcome to link up to 3 posts, and old posts are always welcome!
