It's been a while since we've reviewed a Berenstain Bears book, so we were excited to get this one:

Actually, I think this book came sometime last year, but it somehow slipped behind the bookcase shelf and I didn't discover it until just the other day - which made it all the more exciting of a surprise to discover!
We've enjoyed all the Berenstain Bears books so much and this one is no exception.
In it, the young cubs are introduced to the concept of Grandparents Day and then decide on a special way to honor their Gramps and Gran.
I love the fun "Grandchildren of Noah" book that they come up with for their gift as well as the Bible verse (Proverbs 17:6) that is listed on the first page.
The cute story and illustrations are wrapped up by a back cover listing further ideas for ways kids can show love to their grandparents.
We've never really celebrated Grandparents Day around here (I didn't even realize it was a "real" holiday!) because we usually just include them in our Mother's and Father's Day celebrations, but this book has sparked an interest in the day for Gv, so we just might be adding a new celebration to our list this next year!
