I think books like this are the perfect thing for bedtime reading:

Gv and I have gotten several similar books from the library over the past few years, so I thought she'd be over the moon to have this one, but she was greatly disappointed to learn that it only talked about "guys."

Well, I can totally see the authors writing a similar book focused on ladies in the future and I'm sure Gv will love that one, but until they do, I still think this book is a great one to add to your collection.

It's just so easy to add books like these to your daily read-aloud pile and I love the fact that I'm learning all sorts of fascinating stories about Christian men who positively impacted the world at the same time.

The book features 50 different biographical profiles of current and historical men of faith, many of whom aren't often featured in other books, although standards like Martin Luther King, Jr. and George Washington Carver are included, too.

The illustrations are colorful and interesting, yet follow the same informative style.

But the best part of this book is that it can inspire our children to follow a multitude of paths to change the world and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

I'm sure this book holds extra appeal to boys and although Gv turned her nose up at the fact that this book features only males, I think it's a fabulous choice for anyone to read and a great addition to any family's home library.

Picke up your copy here and shine the light on some stand-up guys for your kids!
