We have one or two children's books focused on money matters, but this new title looked like a fun one to add to the pile:

We haven't had PBS on constantly in the background around here for a few years, so we weren't familiar with the character Wimee, from Wimee's Words, but the colorful cover looked appealing.

The book was very cute. It definitely is a basic introduction to money and probably best for preschoolers, but it's nice to see that books like this are being written to help introduce kids to the concept of money early on.

Aside from the bright illustrations and Wimee-focused storyline, readers will be introduced to financial concepts like how to get money, the purpose of money, and what to do with it.

At the end of the book, parents will find three pages with extra information and tips on how to use the book to further learning.

Grab a copy for your family here and help your preschool- & early elementary-aged children dip their toes into the world of finance!
