While picture books are probably best geared for ages 4-8, we've decided that we don't outgrow them in our house and love sitting down together to share in their colorful pages.

We've enjoy several other books by author Linsey Davis (like this one and this one) that I've reviewed in the past.
We especially love the adorable illustrations that Lucy Fleming adds to the fun-to-read-aloud, rhyming text.
This latest picture book focuses on supporting girls, encouraging their dreams, and reminding them of their worth.
We loved the diversity displayed on the pages, both throughout the message and in the illustrations.
And this title, while primarily centered around girls, is wonderful for all kids, as it invites them to celebrate the equality and fairness we should all experience and its message is meant to spur both girls and boys on to be brave and take their place in a challenging world.
