Project Snapshot {Week 22}

http://www.edsnapshots.com/2013/12/project-snapshot.html

I'm joining Pam for Project Snapshot Mondays.  The goal of this project is to capture a memory from the past week, either with a camera, words, or both.  Time passes in the blink of an eye and this will create a collection of treasured memories from throughout the year.

My Snapshot
We discovered a new playground on Memorial Day and spent over three hours there with Gv.

This was the coolest playground we'd ever seen.  It followed a castle theme and was composed of wooden structures (although it looked like about half of the playground had been converted to sturdier, wooden-looking composite material) instead of garish plastic equipment pieces, the clones of which you'll see in Any Playground, U.S.A.

As soon as we crossed the drawbridge and entered the enclosed play-space, Gv spied these monkey bars and began pointing out her desire to check them out first-hand, despite her small stature.

G complied and patiently held her up in this position on his shoulders so she could "swing" on the bars herself for probably close to half an hour.

Hurts my neck just looking at this photo, but she was just so happy.

We have closer playgrounds, but this one will definitely be worth the drive!

What was your favorite memory from this past week?  I'd love to hear about it!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
