Blends are where two letters combine, but you still hear both sounds. The most common blends are bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, tr, sc, sk, sl, sp, st, sw, and spr.
You'll be able to get these common blend cards in Pack 2 of my Phonics Cards, which I'll be adding to my Teachers Pay Teachers store in the near future (Set 1 is available now).
