Friday Frivolity - Dr. Seuss Fun

It's time for this week's edition of Friday Frivolity - the blog party for all things fun, funny, hopeful & happy!

Just wait until you see what we dug up for this week's theme...

At last week's party, we shared all sorts of Mardi Gras madness.

This time, we're partying it up for Dr. Seuss' birthday.

I've never really been a huge Dr. Seuss fan (although G could read Gv those books all day), but even my Scroogey-Seuss self can appreciate some of his finer pearls of wisdom:

And you can get more me-er than skating critters!

This quote kept me going when my teaching "dream team" had to break up one year due to a new school opening and positions shifting around.

Especially on Disney roller coasters!

We should frame this and stick it on the wall around here!

This pretty much sums up life in Syncopated Mama-land!

Now time for the new stuff!

  3. You might enjoy the following site. You can create your own signs using Dr. Seuss characters (and a few other types, too): http://www.redkid.net/generator/seuss/index.php

You and you're kids might have fun with that site. Enjoy!

  4. I love Dr. Seuss! I was happy to recently hear that Amanda is reading a few Dr. Seuss books at her school's library. She doesn't get to bring the books home, but she sometimes tells me what she's reading. She has memorized "Did you ever ride a wump?" just for the fun of it. Thanks for hosting!

  5. Neither I or my kids were Dr. Seuss fans either, although they had a bunch of the books. Now my little one Star absolutely LOVES these books she "inherited", and most nights they are the ones she chooses for her bedtime books. But I do what I gotta do and read them as I know it's good for her.
