Project Snapshot - July 2018

Each month, Project Snapshot captures memories from the past weeks - either with a camera, words, or both.

Time passes in the blink of an eye - see which treasured memory will join the year's collection for this month:

My Snapshots

What have we been up to this past month? Take a look and see:

More than anything, Gv wanted to see Mt. Rushmore. I didn't quite catch her first look at the exact moment (you'd have thought she was walking into Disney, she was so excited!), but this picture is pretty close.

One of the ranger programs included dissecting an owl pellet. I just love this classic Gv expression, she's so intent on her work!

Gv wanted to take us on a hike, so she led the way through the prairie above Wind Cave, on what I dubbed the "Little House on the Prairie Opening" trail.

One of the highlights of the trip was visiting wonderful friends who'd moved hundreds of miles north last year. Here are the girls frolicking in the waves at Indiana Sand Dunes National Lakeshore (another Jr. Ranger badge!)

We wound up ending the trip in our typical mountain spot. Sometimes it's fun to return to the familiar, too. After all the bouldering we did on the rest of the trip, these rocks were a fun reminder of all she'd accomplished with her rock-climbing skills this year.

We had another epic trip that will last forever in our memories! This special time together as a family just can't be beat!

What were your favorite memories from this past month?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
