There are plenty of standard economy Bibles out there, but this is the first one I've seen that's specifically intended for children:

Sure, the print is small and the pages are newsprint, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how many features Tommy Nelson had thrown into this outreach Bible for kids.

The colorful cover is great for boys and girls!

So, just what makes it so special?

Two aspects: the engaging cover that will appeal to both boys and girls and the 24 full-color study help pages inside!

This is the same multi-page time line that's found in several other Tommy Nelson kid's Bibles!

These vibrant pages cover topics such as:

  • Why Should I Read the Bible?
  • Bible Verses to Know
  • Knowing Jesus Better
  • How Do I Pray?
  • How Can I Let God’s Love Shine Through Me?
  • How Do I Study the Bible?
  • The Names of God
  • and many more!
Extra pages like this one make the Bible a great evangelism tool.

There's even a presentation page -- a feature I totally didn't expect from such a budget Bible!

Personalize this gift before you give it.

I can see this Bible being bought up by Sunday School programs everywhere; it would be such a perfect choice to hand out as awards for perfect attendance or memorized verses!

Classic NKJV text

I just love that Tommy Nelson created this option. It provides an affordable way to share The Good Book with all the kids you know.

These are the same maps found in some of the publisher's other Bibles, too.

Grab a few to keep on hand for whenever a need presents itself. Gv just told me the other day that a little gal at Awana was sad because she was the only one in the group without a Bible of her own, so now Gv can't wait for next week when she can give this one to her new friend!

You can get a copy here and bless a child that you encounter with the gift of God's word.
