There are lots of great illustrated children's Bibles out there, but this one is unique because it focuses on the Spirit of God:

Using over 40 Bible stories that range from the standards like creation and David to more unique selections like Amasai, Azariah, Jahaziel and Philip, this picture Bible shows just how the Spirit of God moves through people to accomplish his plan.

The shiny foil cover and full-color illustrations will engage both children and parents alike as they read this special storybook Bible together.

I really love how this Bible steps outside the norm of most children's Bibles to show how God's Spirit lives in his people since the beginning of time. So often it seems like the third person of the Trinity is forgotten and this Bible is a wonderful way to show kids just how important he is in our lives!

I also love the graphics in this book. They have a computer-animated appearance, but somehow the artist manages to impart more personality into his drawings than I've seen in that type of illustration before. I also think the pictures are really cute, without being cutesy, if that makes sense.

Do you feel that most of the faith-based books for children seem to focus on the Father and Son, but forget the Spirit?  I'd love to hear!  Either leave a comment below or email me at lisahealy (at) outlook (dot) com.
