Everyone's favorite bear family is back to help new readers develop into caring kids:

I mentioned in this post the other day that we're planning to incorporate quite a bit of nature study into our upcoming year, which means this chapter book will be a perfect companion as well!

You might remember my post about a year ago on a new line of early reader chapter books featuring The Berenstain Bears. While I believe one is never too old to enjoy a good picture book, the introduction of this newer format will give beginning readers another way to enjoy the antics of everyone's favorite bear family while building their reading confidence at the same time!

Just like the previous title I shared with you, Nature Rescue uses a larger font and plenty of pictures to help young readers move through the story in an enjoyable way.

Your kids will follow along with Brother and Sister as they face the ecological challenge of saving an endangered bird from a local developer and see how helpful solutions can be found when a respectful community works together.

Whether you're planning a focus on nature this next year or not, this book is a great way to gently introduce your family to ecological activism while promoting positive character traits along the way.
