Project Snapshot - November 2020

Each month, Project Snapshot captures memories from the past weeks - either with a camera, words, or both.

Time passes in the blink of an eye - see which treasured memory will join the year's collection for this month:

My Snapshots

What have we been up to this past month? Take a look and see:

Our out-of-town friends stayed a bit into November, so we got a bonus day together to explore a new park! Gv & the boys built a palm bridge across a stream so they could explore the other side (don't worry, they put everything back how it was when they were done.)

Welcome to FL weather, where we don't get seasons, but only occasional doses of "non-summer." This is one example, where the day before saw temps in the high 80s, but some freak front came through (thanks Eta!) overnight that warranted this get-up just to let the dog out in the freezing morning chill.

And yes, this was a short-lived front, which meant we had the A/C blasting again the next day.

Amidst all the craziness that was life in this country on Election Day, we experienced a much calmer voting scenario over here, where we voted for which family game to play together that night.

Eta cancelled two days of school (everyone suddenly had to go virtual), but wasn't expected to impact our area too badly. It didn't, but still managed to knock down a couple sections of our fence, which Gv and G worked hard to repair.

After two days of nonstop cooking for our just-the-3-of-us Thanksgiving, I got to take a break while Gv made the desserts. She made pumpkin pie and my yummy Pecan Pie Bites, which all turned out delicious!

And that pretty much wrapped up our month! I wonder what wonderful memories next month will bring?
