Project Snapshot - August & September 2022

Each month, Project Snapshot captures memories from the past weeks - either with a camera, words, or both.

Time passes in the blink of an eye - see which treasured memory will join the year's collection for this month:

My Snapshots

What have we been up to the past two months? Take a look and see:

We've been playing catch-up ever since we returned from our epic summer road trip, so I had to double-up months on this post here...

The new school year has gotten off to a busy start! We've had tons of activities, but I'm hoping they slow down for just a bit before all the holiday madness gets going.

Beginning-of-the-school-year-photo with Gv wearing one of my old dresses!

This crew was SO excited to be back together again after our summer away! They had a blast building their own nesting boxes.

Gv always looks forward to her annual baseball game with Grammy & Papa. She was quite coordinated for this year's game and claims that's why they won!

These two little bakers created a fabulous layer cake while the moms finally watched this much-anticipated movie.

Gv was totally blown away by this surprise late-birthday-early-Xmas gift from her good friend. I can't believe how much the doll looks like her, too!

On what was surely the hottest day of the year, we drove to the center of the state to explore amazing botanical gardens on a homeschool day. Thank goodness there was a decent amount of shade!

Just because I hadn't driven enough all summer, we racked up more miles by driving down south to the homeschool day at one of our favorite museums.

A new library in a neighboring county opened up with a maker space and they've been offering free sewing lessons there! Gv loves getting more practice and I love not having to drag out everything to do it here at home!

And that pretty much wrapped up our month! I wonder what wonderful memories next month will bring?
